Dear Dogwood Virtual School Families,

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year and an exciting new chapter for our school community! As Dogwood Virtual School begins its inaugural year, we proudly build upon the foundation established as Pine Springs Preparatory Virtual Academy while looking ahead with renewed purpose, energy, and commitment. Our new name represents more than a transition, it reflects our opportunity to grow stronger together and create a school community defined by high expectations, meaningful relationships and a shared belief in what every student can achieve. We are honored that you have chosen Dogwood Virtual School and grateful for the opportunity to partner with you in your child’s educational journey.

Our greatest priority for the year ahead is personalized learning and academic achievement for every student. At Dogwood Virtual School, we believe that where students begin does not determine where they can go. Through high-quality instruction, intentional use of student data, targeted academic support and consistent collaboration among students, families, and educators, we are committed to helping every learner make meaningful progress. We will celebrate growth while continuing to raise expectations, strengthen instructional practices, and ensure that students receive the support and challenge they need to reach their fullest potential and prepare for success beyond Dogwood.

As we look toward the future, we are building more than a new school identity, we are establishing a culture of growth, excellence, accountability, and possibility. The success of Dogwood Virtual School will be shaped by the collective commitment of our students, families, faculty, staff, and community and we invite each of you to be an active partner in this journey.
